Conscious parenting invites the parent to raise their own consciousness before raising the child. During the process the parent recognizes their own patterns from childhood, often disguised as a feeling of “my child triggered me”.

However, the conscious parenting method is not exclusive to parents. It is an approach to find out where and when our behaviour is purely reactive, and therefore a pattern. These behaviour patterns may show up in intimate relationships, at work, with other family members.
